Thank you for visiting my website, As the real estate market across the country changes a bit, I'm ready for the challenge of still assisting my clients reaching their housing or investment goals. I've been through many real estate cycles in my 30+ in this business that I love.
The process of buying and/or selling in any market can be challenging (though exciting!) to work through, so it's a true benefit to you to work with a Realtor who is knowledgeable and experienced. I have had the privilege of assisting Buyers and Sellers as my full-time career for over 30 years and have worked through different market cycles. My goal is to help my clients navigate through a purchase or sale process smoothly. It is an adventure! I choose to work the different areas of Oahu, instead of specializing in one neighborhood. It helps me have a good pulse on the market in general. I believe by doing that, I stay current on the Oahu market as a whole. I have found this to be very valuable when evaluating the real estate market activity overall, as I'm able to spot changing trends in different areas.
I was born and raised in Honolulu. The island has changed a lot since I was growing up; many neighborhoods didn't exist back then. But change happens and I've enjoyed the learning process of new developments and condos over the years. I'm a second-generation Realtor, having been blessed to have an amazing mentor in my mom, Barbara Dew, a respected Realtor in Hawaii during her 40+ year career which she loved.
Besides working with clients, during
my career I've chosen to also volunteer in the real estate industry serving terms on the Board of Directors for the
Honolulu Board of Realtors, and also serving on the Board of
Directors for the Hawaii Association of Realtors. I have also served on
the Professional Standards and Arbitration Committee for several years
for the Honolulu Board of Realtors, during 2 separate terms, since 2010. On the
National level, I served on Committees for the Council of
Residential Specialists, which is the organization for the CRS
designation that I hold. The education I've received doing this volunteer work has been invaluable!
